Blogging Rules to Abide By
We will:Only use our FIRST name when writing
Only use SENSIBLE and KIND words
Not include any of our DETAILS - this includes phone number, address, personal email address
Be careful when putting PHOTOS on (we have permission slips signed by parents)
Ask PERMISSION when putting other people's photos - tell them what you are going to do with the photos
Only display nice photos of other people (we don't want to embarrass people)
Try our hardest to spell our words correctly
Be RESPONSIBLE when using and writing on our blog

Each student's assignment was to write a journal entry about their pinch pots. Telling me step by step how they created their pot. Enjoy their step by step directions.

3 Then we put hour uninshul on the pinch pot
4 And then when we came back we painted the pinh pot
5 It was so long to get hour pinch pot
6 And then the pinh pots was mixed up then we had to pick enough of them
First Miss Esick gave us playdough and we put or thumb in it.Then we put or initials on it then we started growing.We stared paint it. Then it stared fire it then Miss Eisck stared give it to us.

3.We make a hole in the ball with our thum.
4.We make the shap of our pinch pot.
5.We smooth it out with some liqud stuff.
6.We leve them so they can dry.
First we got clay. Then we put our thumb in the clay.Next we put the shape we wanted . Then we we used deceretons . Then we smooth it with sticks .Then we panted the pot then we took it home.
ReplyDeleteMaking Pinch pots, first it comes in a ball. Then i put my lovely thum in the claydoe. Then i started to pinch the sides of my beautiful pinch pot. I pinched my pot round. We use some liquid water to smooth it. Then Mrs.Sick fire them. Thats how i made a pinch pot.

ReplyDeleteAND THEN WE DECKERD THEM WHEN TWO DAYS PAST WHENT MRS ESICK TOLD USE COLORS OF THE PAINT THEN SHE FIRED THEM AND WE THE THINGS THEY WERE PAINT AND FORCKS SHELS TO DECKERRAYD.
You get clay then you press your thum in it and then you make a hole and twistyour thum in it.then we got water to make it smoot then

and we put our inshiles and the pintch pot
and then Mrs.Eseck puted it in the oven.
First you take some doh.Make a circle.Put your thum in it.Pinch and turn untill you have the shape you like.

to make it smooth and slick.
Then we used tool like a knifeto make points
aspoon to make a cicle
After that they fired it and the other time we talked about the colors and what they would loook like when she borns it. And thats all we did so.
We use clay then roll it to a ball next put your thumb and turn it around to make it into a pot. When you make it to a pinch pot you smooth it with water put your hand in the water when you are done smoothing it you are going to paint it with paint brushes and pinch
ReplyDeleteFirst I the art teacher gave me some claydow. Next I had to put my thumb and I pinched it until it was thin. Then the art teacher made them hard but they will break. Finally the art teacher gave me the pinch pot back and I got to paint the pinch pot pink bluegreen and gray but the pink was clear and shiny.How I made my pinch pot.Alexis 3/22/10
